Craig Burel
General Partner
Craig is a General Partner at Reciprocal Ventures, where he leads the investment team's day-to-day operations and oversees thesis development, deal execution, and portfolio support. Since joining the firm in 2017, he has helped sharpen Reciprocal's focus on the digital asset sector, backing founders from pre-seed through Series A.
Craig works closely with portfolio companies post-investment, drawing on a decade of operating and institutional capital markets experience. He specializes in accelerating the path to product-market fit by coaching founders on sales tactics, designing go-to-market strategy, and building a predictable growth engine.
Before Reciprocal, Craig was the first business development hire at FiscalNote, an early AI company that went public in 2022. He closed its first large enterprise accounts and, as Head of Revenue Strategy & Operations, went on to build and lead the company's revenue and go-to-market functions through its scale-up. He began his career in Morgan Stanley's Institutional Equity Division as a Junior Sector Specialist covering Media & Telecom.
He holds a B.A. in Economics from Lafayette College.
